At around 2:00pm, Meet with guide & drive to the Boat station. Upon arrival in the station, Board on the public launch. Normally the launches depart from Dhaka at around 04:00pm – 5:00pm. Overnight Journey towards Jalokhati (this is the closed destination you can go by boat from Dhaka).
Regarding the visit in Kuakata, the road condition is very bad, more over the public boat does not go up to Kuakata. This is why we are going up to Jhalikhati district by boat.
The boat has basic accommodation facility with non air condition cabin, with toilet facility. Normal Bangladeshi food will be available on boat.
-Jhalokhati – Kuakata
Upon arrival at Jhalokhati in the morning at around 07am -08 am, Breakfast at local market, then drive to Kuakata (120km/5:30 hours). Upon arrival, transferred to hotel. Visit local markets, tribal villages, Buddhist monastery & beach activity etc. enjoy the sunset from the beach. This today is relaxed days just to chilling on the beach. Overnight at Hotel .
Note: Bangladesh is a Muslim dominated country; you cannot wear swimming costumes in the beach.
-Kuakata – Barisal Sightseeing
After Breakfast, drive to Barisal (82km/4:00 hours) knows as capital of south, on the way visit local villages; local markets and walk around the Barisal launch station, visit the church and explore the little bit of Barisal. Overnight stay at Barisal town.
-Barisal – Bagerhat – Mongla
Early morning we will drive from Barisal to Mongla (6 hours/ 135km). En route visit the mosque city Bagerhat. This city was established by a Persian merchant Khan Jahan Ail, made lot of mosque nearby the whole region. One of his remarkable architect which was declared UNESCO World Heritage site 60 Dome Mosque, we will explore. Also visit the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali, 9 dome mosques, and some other mosque. Then a short drive to Mongla. Overnight at Mongla.
-Sundarban Mangrove Forest Cursing
Early Morning transfer to the sundarbans chartered boat & immediately star cruising towards the forest. Forming one of the largest margrave forests on earth, the world heritage site will be landscapes of the spectacular backdrop for next two days. Home of Bengal Tigers, estuarine crocodile and some 270 specs of birds, the incredible network of islands, creeks, mud flats, provide the setting for an unforgettable boat trip. We will cruse deep into the heart of incredible wildness, exploring the most eastern part of Sundarbans called Kotka wild life sanctuary area. There will be different wild forest activates like country boat trip in the small creeks and cannels, watch tour climbing, mangrove trekking inside the forest, etc. here one Bar B Q dinner is included in the forest. On the way back at the last day, we will visit some villages nearby the forest. Last night we will stay at Khulna.

-Khulna – Rajshahi (Train Journey)
Boarding an early morning train heading north towards the university town of Rajshahi on the bank of the Padma River. Lying amongst the landscapers of the north western corner of Bangladesh, close to the border with India, Rajshahi enjoys a reputation as the centre of the countries silk industry. The town is also an important cultural centre, with the nearby Hindu temples at Puthia proving us with a fascinating destination for this afternoon. Little known and rarely visited , the remarkable collection of atmospheric ruins include a number of bangle and Chu-chala style temples dedicated to shiva , Govinda, Annika . The town is also a home to impressive, but sadly fading, maharanis palace. Built during the late 19th century by Hemanta Kumari Devi. After visiting return to Rajshahi for the evening.
-Rajshahi- Paharpur- Bogra:
After breakfast this morning drive to Paharpur, to visit the UNESCO World heritage site of sompur Mahavihara, one of the most important archeological site s in the country. Once the largest Buddhist monastery south of the Himalayas, Sompura Mahavihara dates back to the 8th century and architecturally is more remising of the Buddhist shrine of the Burma & Cambodia then those of India. Continuing on to Mahastangar, we visit the oldest archeological site anywhere in the country. Lying on the western bank of the Korotoya River and dating back to at least the 3 century BC. The site is littered with reminders of its Buddhists, Hindu & Muslim past. After Our visit we drive the short distance on to Bogra, One of the oldest town of the northern Bangladesh, which lay of the heart of some fiercest fighting during the war for independence for back in the early 1970’s.
-Bogra – Dhaka – Chittagong:
After breakfast drive to Dhaka. On the way visit a very nice interesting weaving village in Shirajgong, and continue to Dhaka. Upon arrival at Dhaka domestic airport (Dhaka – Chittagong), take the afternoon flight to Chittagong. Upon arrival at Chittagong, drive to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
-Chittagong – Bandarban
After breakfast, driving out Chittagong, we head next into the fertile hills of south- eastern Bangladesh, one of the most remote regions in the country (87km/04:00hrs). Our destination is the town of Bandarban on the sangu River, lying in the heart of rich tribal landscapes of the hill tracts. One of the last bastions of Buddhism in South Asia, this captivating hill country is home to 15 different ethnic minorities, of which the Murong and the Marma are largest. These indigenous tribes differ in both physical appearance and in their religious and cultural beliefs from the country’s majority Bengali population; over the next two days we should have an opportunity to discover a little diversity of the nature and human diversity of this incredible Setting.
-Bandarban – Chittagong
After breakfast, drive back to Chittagong (87km/04:00hrs). a city that can trace its maritime heritage back over a thousand years. The Portuguese one describes its Porto Grande and indeed it has served the region well as a thriving port since the arrival of the Arab merchants back in 9th Century. In the afternoon explore the little bit of the city. Overnight at hotel.
-Chittagong – Dhaka (By Train)
After breakfast at Hotel, transferred to the railway station and board on the train from Chittagong to Dhaka. Arrive Dhaka in the afternoon. Upon arrival Dhaka, transferred to the hotel. Overnight at Dhaka & end our tour.
DAY 01 ARRIVE DHAKA BY:INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
Arrive Dhaka airport. Meet & greet by our representative. After dinner transfer to designated hotel for stay overnight. (D)
DAY 02 IN DHAKA BY: INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
After breakfast explore the mega city of Dhaka. Visit Shadarghat water front by the river bank of Buriganga. This river port is always active with different types of passenger vessels and crafts with hundred & thousands passengers are coming in & passing out through this river port. Also visit some of the most interesting sites of the city like the Ahsan Manjil (Full day closed on Thursday & Friday open between 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs), walk through the Shakhari Bazar (Hindu Street). Visit Armenian Church, Star mosque, Curzon Hall of Dhaka University, Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. Have lunch at a nice restaurant. After lunch visit National Museum (Full day closed on Thursday & Friday open between 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs), Dhakeshwari National Temple, Lalbagh Mughal Fort (Full day closed on Sunday & Monday open between 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs) and the most distinctive National Parliament Building designed by World’s famous American architect Luis I Kahn. Also visit some local markets like Aarong to get the touch of our local products & handicraft. After dinner at a nice local restaurant transfer to hotel for stay overnight. (BLD)
DAY 03 DHAKA-BAGERHAT - KULNA BY: SURFACE
After breakfast drive to Mongla (330 Kms, 7 Hrs). En-route visit Bagerhat, now mainly consists of a number of old mosques and the tomb of its founder, Khan Jahan Ali (Rah.). Sixty domed mosque which is UNESCO world heritage site. The other side of the road is another small mosque, built in the traditional brick style. A few kilometers down to the road, there is the holy shrine of Saint Khan Jahan Ali (Rah.). Further drive (45 minutes) to Khulna. Dinner & overnight at hotel. (BLD)
DAY 04 KULNA - SUNDARBANS
Early morning avail the vessel for Sundarbans & start cruising through the river Mirgamari, Harintana, Shella etc. The cruise may take (6-7 hrs) depending on tide. During this long cruise you will be passing through the different forest islands and obviously you may expect to click your Zoom camera to shoot different wild animals like spotted Deer, Rhesus Macaque, colorful birds specially the white large Egrets, White bellied sea Eagle or huge Crocodiles basking on the shore or playful diving of Gangetic dolphins in the river water is a common feature in this great jungle. Reach Katka Island in the afternoon and anchor the boat for subsequent forest activities. Evening (if time permits) explore the island by forest hiking inside the forest to observe the wild animals in their own domain. Dinner and stay overnight on the boat’s cabin. (BLD)
DAY 05 SUNDARBANS
Early morning explore the most attracting Jamtala Island famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger, different wild animals & birds. Here you can enjoy the canal cruising by small country boat for bird watching. After breakfast some interesting forest activities will be organized which include climbing of watch tower to observe the wild animals, take interesting jungle hiking through the deep covered forest to have the closer look of wild animals and the mangrove vegetation. Walking through the Badamtala beach (2.5 km) will be a great experience to follow the tiger’s trail down to the beach and savannah type grass lands in the backdrop of the deep covered forest. Return to boat and sail for Kachikhali Island (Tiger Point - 2 hrs) which is very famous for wild life habitat and especially for the tiger’s domain. Afternoon take a adventurous forest hiking in the covered forest and as well as in the broad grass lands where you can easily observe the big herds of spotted deer and wild boar. To get the glimpse of burning bright shadow of the Royal Bengal Tiger is a common feature in this tiger reserve. Return to boat and enjoy the B.B.Q Dinner. Stay overnight on the boat. (BLD)
Day 06: Sundarbans-Khulna
Early in the morning take a boat cruise by a small country boat in the famous Kachikhali Khal (canal) to observe colorful birds. Here you can expect to see the giant Adjutant Stork and white bellied Sea Eagle including different type of fishing kites, Mangrove pitta, Black headed Oriol, Red Jungle Fowl, Wood packer etc. Back to the boat and sail for return journey towards Khulna in a different way crossing so many rivers, canals, ever green forested islands which are not same so long you visited. Reach Khulna and disembark from the boat. Transfer to hotel for stay overnight. (BLD)
Day 07: Khulna-Kolkata
After breakfast transfer to Kolkata (B)
